Back in March of 2022, the engineering company where I had been working for the past 13 years announced that the site would close at the end of the year.

I was unsure of what I wanted to do next, then when I was looking at one of the careers leaflets provided by the company, I noticed a Derby council advert for a range of courses which included one for dry stone walling. I was immediately interested so I made some enquiries and decided to take the plunge, I have been working Dry Stone Walling locally in Derbyshire since June 2023.

After completing the DSWA Lantra Intermediate Course in 2024 I am now a professional member of the Dry Stone Walling Association.

I am available via the contact link for all aspects of dry stone walling including new builds, gapping, strip and repair, reset/cement copings, cheek ends, stone wall pointing and repointing etc.
